The EUHA Members’ Assembly, scheduled for November 21 in Aarhus, will be hosted by Aarhus University Hospital and will bring together representatives from all EUHA members, eleven of Europe’s leading university hospitals. During the meeting, EUHA representatives will discuss EUHA’s ongoing projects, review the progress of EUHA working groups and networks, prioritise activities and discuss EUHA’s strategy and agenda.
Twice a year, representatives from each EUHA member organisation, including their CEOs and members of the EUHA Steering Committee, come together at the Members’ Assembly to shape the alliance’s agenda and priorities. The CEOs play a key role in setting direction for the Steering Committee, networks, and working groups. This year’s November assembly will be held on Friday, November 21, in Aarhus, and will be chaired by Thomas Balle Kristensen, CEO of Aarhus University Hospital, and current EUHA President.
In addition, from November 18 to 21, several EUHA networks and working groups will convene to exchange experiences and strengthen collaboration. As part of the programme, Aarhus Univeresity Hospital will also host two conferences: Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Conference and the “Focusing on High-Value Care for the Patient” Conference.

As part of the Danish EU Presidency, this high-profile international conference will gather EUHA members, experts, and policymakers to discuss solutions to one of the greatest global health challenges.

“Focusing on High-Value Care for the Patient” Conference – November 20
A day dedicated to leading wise choices in value-based healthcare. Through keynote sessions, workshops, and a final panel debate, participants will explore issues such as patients and society, guideline development, and inefficient delivery of care.

This collaborative spirit will be on full display during our November events at Aarhus University Hospital, where a series of meetings of the EUHA Working Groups and Networks will take place.
EUHA Working Groups and Networks
The Nursing Network will meet from November 18 to 20 with a full agenda. An essential part of the programme will be the EUHA Nursing Focus Visits (Read more about EUHA Nursing Focus Visits here). In parallel with the focus visits, the Nursing Research Group and the Nursing Network Steering Group will also hold meetings. Separately, the MDR/IVDR Network will convene on 20 November.
EUHA Members’ Assembly and EUHA Presidency – November 21
The June Members’ Assembly will conclude with the ceremonial handover of the EUHA Presidency, as Aarhus University Hospital passes the role to HUS Helsinki University Hospital. HUS will serve as EUHA President until the next Members’ Assembly in November 2026.
